Participated with the Reporters Committee and 31 other media organizations and outlets in a letter to the Attorney Grievance Committee of the Supreme Court of the State of New York.  The letter requests public access to all papers, records, and documents from any and all disciplinary proceedings currently pending against Rudy Giuliani.  A number of formal ethics complaints have been filed against Giuliani, stemming from actions he took on behalf of former president Trump in a series of unsuccessful lawsuits challenging the results of the 2020 presidential election.  New York law permits appellate justices to make the papers, records, and documents from any disciplinary proceeding public “upon good cause being shown.”  The letter argues that such good cause exists here, and emphasizes the importance of transparency in these proceedings.  [2021]
