Washington, Dec. 12, 2013 – Antoinette Cook Bush of News Corp was elected to the Board of Trustees of The Media Institute at the board’s annual meeting on Dec. 10.
Bush is Executive Vice President and Global Head of Government Affairs for News Corp. She joined News Corp from Skadden, Arps, Meagher & Flom LLP, where she headed the firm’s Communications Group.
Bush also served as executive vice president of Northpoint Technology Ltd. from 2001 to 2003. Prior to an earlier stint at Skadden, Arps, Bush served as senior counsel to the Communications Subcommittee of the U.S. Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee. She holds a J.D. from Northwestern University Law School and a B.A. from Wellesley College.

The Media Institute’s Board of Trustees is comprised of representatives from various sectors of the media industry, as well as communications attorneys.
