National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA)
NTIA is the Executive Branch agency
principally responsible for domestic and international telecommunications and information policy issues. NTIA staff are providing administrative support for the Gore Commission, and their site includes an archive of official documents generated by and about the Commission. Information on how to submit comments to the Commission and directions on how to join the NTIA mailing list are also on the site.
The Benton Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C., whose mission is the promotion of communications tools, applications, and policies in the public interest. Charles Benton, chairman and CEO of the Foundation, serves as a member of the Gore Commission. The Foundation's website provides a summary of the first meeting and links to many other Commission documents and resources.
The National Association of Broadcasters is the industry association representing television and radio broadcasters. The NAB website includes information on the broadcast industry and position statements on regulatory and policy issues.
