The Cornerstone Project
The Cornerstone Project’s activities include books, a series of
papers, public service advertisements in media trade publications, a luncheon
series featuring addresses by noted First Amendment experts, and a national
symposium in Washington, D.C. The First Amendment and
the Media - 2002 is released under the auspices of the Cornerstone
Project.
The program was launched in October 2000 and has two advisory bodies.
The Cornerstone Project Advisory Board comprises seven financial
supporters representing a wide array of media interests.
The Advisory Council includes 11 media, journalism, and free speech
organizations. For more information on the project and how to participate,
